Assisting businesses, public Bodies and Authorities for the compliance with the national and EU norms in the field of the processing, protection and movement of personal data
Acting as Data Protection Officer according to the Regulation (EU) 2016⁄679 (“GDPR”)
Carrying out the different tasks decreed by “GDPR”. Among others:
- monitoring the compliance with GDPR and any national norms, most notably as concerns implementing whatever fit documents concerning the processing of personal data;
- advising, informing, warning, as the case may be, the Controller and/or the Processor on the GDPR subject-matter;
- providing advice where requested as regards the data protection impact assessment and monitoring its performance;
- acting as the contact point for, and cooperating with, the Supervisory Authority;
- minding that the “data Subjects” be duly informed about the processing of their personal data as well as about their rights in this respect.
Advising, informing and training in the field of Privacy, namely whatever related to the processing and the protection of the personal data of natural persons
Advising on:
- GDPR compliance
- data protection strategy and policy
- in general, issues of data protection.
Preparing Privacy Impact Assessments and Data protection Policies.
Training and updating of staff and professionals on protection of personal data and current legislation.
Supporting events aiming to spread Privacy culture meant as the right to have the personal data respected and protected as belonging to the fundamental human rights.
